Planter’s Punch
Under the heading Planter’s Punch we present each month one special aspect of the CEPLAS research programme. All contributions are prepared by our early career researchers.
About the author
Susanne Vollmer is a PhD student in the Center for Plant Genome Engineering (Dr. Götz Hensel, HHU) working on a collaboration project with the Crop Evolution group (Prof. Dr. Markus Stetter, Universität Köln). Since her childhood, she has been interested in natural sciences. After school, she did her bachelor’s in biology at the HHU, before the joined the CEPLAS graduation school 2020. In her free time, she reads a lot, enjoys doing creative things, goes climbing and loves to be outdoor in the nature.
